Three young men went for a job interview at a big company. While waiting to be interviewed, they looked behind them and saw a young man in a wheelchair.
The three men burst into laughter and began making fun of him. They made insulting and disparaging comments about him.
Meanwhile, the man in the wheelchair noticed he was being ridiculed by the three men. He pushed forward to them and asked,
"Excuse me, are you throwing shade at me?"
However, one of the men scoffed and said abruptly and rudely,
"Yes, we are really throwing shade at you, mister! Can't you see you are a burden to everyone around you? You are like a wheelbarrow full of heavy bricks. You won't be able to achieve anything in life because you are confined to a wheelchair! Hahaha!"
The man in the wheelchair was silent for a moment, then he asked,
"What about you with working legs, what have you achieved in life?"
The first man crossed his arms and said boastfully,
"I may not have a lot of money, but at least I live on my own. I went to college, got a degree in business, and now... I'll be getting a job in this big company. I'm better than you!"
The second man raised his shoulders broadly and bragged,
"I also went to college, received a degree in accounting, and I'll soon be an employee of this rich company. I'm not a burden to my family like you!"
The third man hit his chest firmly and said arrogantly,
"I have been working since I was a child and I provided for my family. I went to school, I went to a university, and I studied administration and management. I now want to work for this expensive company. What have you achieved in life, crippled man?"
The man in the wheelchair smiled and said,
"I am the owner of this company. Yes, someone who is 'confined to a wheelchair' and is like a 'wheelbarrow full of heavy bricks' really owns this company. Are you surprised? So tell me now... what have the three of you achieved in life with your two working legs?"
Don't look down on others no matter how less well-off they appear. Don't belittle anyone, and treat everyone as a human being, no matter their disability, background, race, gender, etc. Intellectually and physically disabled individuals are just as human as anybody else on Earth. Make life easier for everybody by being a decent human being who can empathize and be aware of these challenges. Always have your feet firmly planted on the ground and stay humble. Get rid of arrogance from your heart and always remember that the world is full of twists and turns.

Great story about a man in a wheelchair , and a lesson i hope many learn reading it . hugs and peace Maria
Never assume a handicap is a disability. I knew a young man in college that told me that just because he couldn't see didn't mean he was blind.
