A lizard and a frog have been best friends ever since they were little. One day, the lizard said to the frog,
"I want to tell you about my hopes, dreams, and aspirations in life."
The frog hooted immediately,
"Oh wow, okay then."
The lizard smiled, and then said,
"My biggest dream in life is... I want to build a big house with turrets, a road, and a swimming pool. Apart from this, I want to own my own farm, grow my own vegetables and fruit and have fresh eggs, milk, butter, etc. I want to marry a very beautiful and humble princess. And I also want to learn the human language."
The frog flapped his hands in excitement, and then exclaimed,
"Wow! That's awesome! You have such marvelous plans, my best friend. I'm so happy for you, and I hope you accomplish all of your dreams."
The following day, the frog approached the lizard, and said to him with a warm smile,
"Come with me privately, my best friend... I have something important to show you."
The frog took the lizard for a long walk on the lonely path. And after a while, he stopped in front of an old, rusty, and crumbled beverage can.
The frog then declared,
"Listen, friend, the reason I brought you here is because I have decided to help you achieve all of your dreams in life. All you need to do is stick your head in the can, and you will see some magical fireflies flashing their light. Do not interrupt them. Just make any wish you want and they will grant it. All the dreams you wish for will come to reality."
Astonished, the lizard asked,
"Oh, are you sure about this? Will it really work?"
The frog affirmed with a nod that it was true, and it would work like magic. The lizard then asked in a tense whisper,
"But the hole is very narrow, I might get stuck."
The frog muttered,
"No, you won't get trapped. Besides, I'm here and I'll help you if you're in trouble. Go on and stick your head in the can. I only want the best for you, my friend."
After much convincing, the lizard went ahead and inserted his head into the can. But he soon realized that it was a false move. His head got stuck almost immediately. He chirped and cried,
"I didn't see any fireflies flashing light. Pull me out! Get me out!"
However, the evil frog gave a wicked smile, and then whispered into the lizard's ear,
"Relax... It's going to be a slow and painful death, my best friend. I hope you can achieve all those dreams when you're dead. Goodbye forever!" He leaped away afterward and never returned there.
In as much as sharing your goals with friends and others is somewhat helpful, sharing it with the wrong people could indeed be a gateway to disaster. Some friends may act like well-wishers to you but are secretly wishing that you fail. Some of us have been through tough situations, only because we decided to share some secrets with friends. Fake friends are like scorpions in butterfly wings. They appear harmless and sweet like a butterfly, but they carry venom like a scorpion and could do more damage than their real enemies. We should learn to talk less, and dream more. There is power in silence and confidence.

Love the story!
I’m curious to know if your imagination created the story from this picture or the other way around? Either way, very good.
